For this trick, you don’t need very many items. Only a glass and some boiling water are what this trick requires. Put some boiling water in a glass and put your wooden spoon in it. Let this soak as long as possible, and you will see what kind of filth will come off. Unbelievable how dirty the water has become! If you notice that the water is dirty pretty quickly, then choose to change the boiling water and put the wooden spoon in again. This is the only way to get your wooden spoons cleaned again properly.
Of course, this trick does not guarantee that your wooden spoons are completely clean. It is helpful to remove a lot more dirt than the dishwasher, but it will still not remove everything.
