Living in a floating egg is something you don’t hear about every day. You shouldn’t take the floating egg too literally, because this house is inspired by an egg but is not a “real” egg. A one of a kind design it certainly is!

The floating egg also known as the ‘Exbury Egg’ is a floating house and research center in one. The floating egg was created to research changes in the Beaulieu River. As such, the house will float on this river for a year. You have to fancy spending an entire year in an egg on a river!
